Be recognised.
The wordmark and ink-blue field give the shop a clear presence from across the street.

SIDE STREET is an imagined independent store for clothing, books and everyday objects. The kind of place you find by taking the longer way home.
The brief was to make that feeling recognisable before anyone steps inside. A considered serif wordmark, a quiet palette and a curious little bird bring the same welcoming character to the sign, the space and the bag.
The wordmark feels established without feeling formal. The bird adds an unexpected, human touch. A right-angle path becomes the graphic thread that guides the wider identity.
GOOD THINGS, JUST AROUND THE CORNER.
One strong sign. A smaller signal.
A recognisable welcome at every scale.
A line turns a corner, becomes a doorway and opens for the bird. The motion tells the same story as the name: follow your curiosity and see what happens.

A useful mockup answers a question. Here, the question is simple: how does a quiet shopfront become a place you recognise?

The wordmark and ink-blue field give the shop a clear presence from across the street.
A compact S / S marker makes the identity visible along the pavement.
A short welcome adds character while keeping the objects and display in view.
AI-assisted image mockup study. The neutral and branded views illustrate the visual identity application.

The smaller sign uses the same identity in a more compact form. Its lettering follows the face of the board, with a consistent position on both sides.
The purpose of the mockup is to check scale, placement and how the mark reads from a different direction.
A slow, automatic presentation moves from paper bags to the canvas carryall, revealing the artwork, construction and materials. You can explore an angle whenever you want.

The identity leaves the shop with you. Bags, tags, tissue and a reusable carryall extend the same quiet character into the everyday.

A quiet repeat rewards a closer look.
A small moment of personality.

The carryall gives the identity another life beyond the counter. The bird remains a small, recognisable companion rather than a decorative extra.

Stitched attachments support the handles. A folded hem finishes the opening. Soft shaping and a closed sewn base give the bag a believable form.
The artwork follows that form, with surface detail carried into the interactive mockup. The close-up and the turnable object come from the same 3D model.

A clear idea connects a name, a visual identity, a space and the things you take away. Each detail makes the next one feel familiar.
Wordmark, character, palette and language that feel like one brand.
Application mockups make the effect of the identity, signage and materials tangible.
Packaging, campaign imagery and motion carry the same idea beyond the shop.
SIDE STREET is a fictional, self-initiated concept developed for Nour Eddin’s portfolio with AI assistance. Identity artwork, motion, original 3D geometry, materials and studio renders were created for this project. The street and lifestyle photographs are AI-generated campaign concepts, based on the original designs. This is not a commissioned or operating shop.
Scope: naming and positioning, visual identity, bird character, signage and retail visualisation, packaging concepts, 3D modelling, materials, lighting, motion and campaign art direction. Editable SVG artwork, Blender scenes, GLB models and image prompts are included in the project handoff. Reference study: The Optimist by Verena Michelitsch.
