Original packaging designs from my existing work, revisited with a closer eye on materials, light and presentation.
The form is the idea.
The finish makes it felt.
These studies begin with the packaging I already designed: a layered presentation kit, a long fragrance box and a tufted keepsake chest. The new images explore how tactile surfaces, controlled reflections and clearer shadows can give the same designs a stronger presence.
The originals are shown below each study. The new images are AI-assisted interpretations for presentation, rather than photographs of manufactured samples or production specifications.
A layered
first impression.
Sage paper, dark green lining and restrained gold. The lifted lid and inner cover make the sequence of opening visible.
Paper you can almost feel.
More tactile paper and lining. A tactile gold finish against layered sage paper. Softer edges and deeper contact shadows clarify the different layers.

A considered interior.
The red form, patterned lid and three-part insert make a simple, clear product presentation.
Contrast with a purpose.
The red shell and dark insert separate the exterior statement from the objects it is designed to hold. The original colour and light remain intact. A fine layer of grain gives the presentation a subtle photographic texture.
Packaging with
the presence of an object.
Tufted velvet, small metal details and a fitted interior turn the package into something worth keeping.
The material carries the character.
The direction brings out the velvet’s changing pile, the compression around the buttons and the contrast between soft upholstery and the fitted interior.
Design the object.
Then give it a world.
